Internet poker has become world famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the house instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players acquire five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the dealer's initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager's value is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the house. After the wager comes the face off. If the casino doesn't have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with an amount equal to the original wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer's hand. The bank pays money equal to your ante and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
