Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in a fantastic game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that players play with other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about any other, more experienced gamblers taking their mulla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, beginners can take their time and scheme without having to make hasty selections.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a very long time with only a little bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the casino gets 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
