One of the largest problems that I encountered when I very first got into Holdem was figuring out what cards to play in what Placement. Usually I would have burned on a hand that I thought was a very good starting hand. Come to find out they were good hands, just not in the placement I was betting them from. Here is really a pretty basic list of what kind of hands to play and what placement it's suitable to play them in. Remember this chart does not factor in raises or suits.

Wager on From Any Placement

Bet on Mid to Late Location

If you are just beginning to bet on poker, wagering these hands at the recommended positions will help you always be in a safe location before the flop.
