Internet poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the dealer rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the dealer broadcasting "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players are given 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino's 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet's value is equal to your original ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, including an amount equal to the initial wager. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer's hand. The dealer pony's up cash equal to your ante and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
